Documentário SENNA está na lista de indicados ao PGA Awards

Foram anunciados nesta manhã os indicados ao Producers Guild of America Awards, premiação feita pelo sindicato de produtores de Hollywood. Apesar de também premiar séries de televisão, o PGA é considerado como um dos indicativos do Oscar, já que os votantes são praticamente os mesmos da Academia.

Apesar de alguns nomes óbvios na lista, houve algumas surpresas, como o fato de filmes como Missão Madrinha de Casamento e Millenium – Os Homens que Não Amavam as Mulheres estarem entre os indicados, ao invés de A Árvore da Vida e Melancolia, por exemplo, que estão presentes em quase todas as listas de indicados de premiações anunciadas até agora.

Uma boa surpresa está na indicação de Senna (que mesmo sendo uma produção inglesa retrata a vida do brasileiro Ayrton Senna) à categoria de melhor documentário. No entanto, apesar de ter sido indicado ao PGA Awards, o filme não tem chances no Oscar, pois já foi eliminado na pré-lista de indicados da categoria liberada pela Academia.
